We accept the love we think we deserve

There are 7.8 billion people on this planet...and as hard as the right person may be to find, I promise you – they’re out there. The good ones do exist and they’re within reach. The thing we have to remember, is we accept the love we think we deserve.

This means if we don’t value ourselves, we’re likely to end up with someone who doesn’t really value us either. We’re also likely to settle for a relationship that’s not as fulfilling as it could be… Compromising on the level of love we want or not even being fully aware that it’s possible to have more.

The work is created on a preloved book page, using found images, calligraphy paper, napkins, and acrylic paint stenciled on top of the images.
The work is 4"x 5" (10cm x 12.5cm) 
Delivered in an 8”x10” (20.32 x 25.4 cm) cardboard mount.
